Welcome to Heidelberg, PTWC2025 — Pictures of Familiarization Day
Venue
Welcome to Europe’s largest demonstration centre for the print industry. At the Print Media Center in Wiesloch-Walldorf, Heidelberg presents the entire process chain from prepress to postpress. Experience state-of-the-art technology in action and learn from experts who combine tradition with innovative solutions. This unique environment provides hands-on insights into the future of printing and ensures you stay at the forefront of the industry.
Organisation Team
An interdisciplinary team — made up of the experienced WorldSkills teams from the former Skill11 in Germany and Switzerland, alongside an international, independent group of experts — was responsible for developing the World Championship and creating the test projects. Heidelberger Druckmaschinen was closely involved throughout the entire process, ensuring access to cutting-edge technology and deep industry expertise.
Financial Support
Participants from EU member states may be eligible for financial assistance through Erasmus+. This can help cover travel, accommodation, and other related expenses for the Print Technology World Championships 2025. To learn more or start an application, please contact your national Erasmus+ agency.
At a strictly international level, there is no single, universally applicable funding programme for participation in printing competitions similar to Erasmus+.
